What's up, Bbs!
So like finally?!! I cut my hair I feel so good?! Haha, i was very nervous to cut my hair. Not because I will miss my long hair but I was nervous of:
- how will i look like with shorter hair?
- Will it be worth cutting my hair with the price like that?
- Will my boyfriend like it the same way as I do?
- Will my boyfriend like it the same way as I do?
- Will my hair be ruined like will it look very thick with shorter hair since my hair is thick?
; All these questions were in my mind while I was walking to Rivervale Plaza a few days ago. And I was really nervous. Maybe because I rarely go to the salon. (like once a year?) And because for the previous experiences with other haircuts, I wasn't pleased with the hair cut. I would usually go to Compass Point's hair salon (i forgot the name) to cut my hair during secondary school. But since Compass Point is closed down, I tried to go back to the salon that I always cut my hair with during primary school times at Rivervale Plaza. Well, to be honest, the previous haircuts I did with the hair salon at compass point did not really felt satisfied with it. (Even tho my friends say i still look good but i know myself more). So i tried to go back to the Rivervale Plaza's hair salon to cut my hair. I did not take notice of the hair salon's name (i know i'm useless omfg) but it has been there since i was in primary one! (almost like 12 years?!!)
; When i went inside the hair salon, the hair stylists 5/6 of them were very friendly! They greeted me with a smile and also kept approaching me like every 5-10 minutes to inform me that they'll still busy with other customers and apologize for making me wait. It was a very lively kind of atmosphere. Even the customers were smiling at me. I was like "okay maybe this place isn't that bad" But i didn't want to judge quickly. So, i waited. 20 minutes later, it was my turn. This hair stylist came to me with a huge smile on her face and asked how she can help with my hair. I told her what i wanted. And she gave me some suggestions to have a better hair cut according to the state/condition of my hair! But i insisted on cutting the one I wanted and she was okay with it.
; Previously, my hair was U-shaped and layered. The length of my hair was until below my chest. It was not manageable and the weather so hot i felt really suffocated with my hair.

; Yeah so as you can see it's really thick and i couldn't stand it anymore so, i might as well cut my hair. I told the hairstylist to cut my hair straight, no layers, no cutting of fringe and the hair length is about my shoulder there but a bit longer. She was like "alright can, can. I promise you'll look better and happier!" Did she kept her promise? Read further.
; So while she was cutting my hair, we started talking about kids nowadays speaking too much of english and the weird 'ang moh' accent they have, we talked about my goals in life and also why i wanted to cut my hair. She's a very nice lady and i don't mind cutting again with her. Talking to her made me feel very comfortable and my 'auntie' side came out and taked to her in a very Sinagporean auntie kind of way. HAHA. I told this to my boyfriend he just face-palmed. xD
; Okay ya so she kept showing my back view of my hair to see whether i'm satisfied with it and to ensure that she didn't cut wrongly! It' good that way cuz from my previous experiences, the hairstylist just keep on cutting and cutting. Never ask whether it's okay or not. And if i say it's not okay, they give the cb face wtf lol. After awhile, she recommeded me to iron my hair and she gave my some curls which look damn good on me i felt really happy i just couldn't stop looking at myself xD.
Indeed, she KEPT HER PROMISE!!

; I really want to recommend you all to this hair salon if you're living near compassvale/sengkang but i don't know what's the name T.T But i can tell you that it is in Rivervale Plaza Level 1, in the middle of Tender Fresh and Umi Sushi! Direcly infront of Singapore Pools too!!
; Can't wait to take nice selfies with my new hair though! But for now i need to focus on my assignments annd project (SHITTTT)!!!!
