Arm Progress?

Hey Bbs,

;    About 2 weeks ago, if you followed my Instagram, you would have seen the picture of before and after of my arms progress. I roughly made a caption saying about the progress but i'll update it more clearly here.

;    So like i said, i started my fitness journey a year ago and only started doing my upper body workouts such as back and arms only like 3 months ago. What have i been doing the other past 9 months was that i focused more on losing fats especially my lower body area cuz that's where i have the most fat there. After that 9 months of journey, i met this guy, Fauzy, in the gym who is a body builder. We talked and he saw my Instagram posts all and told me that my body was not proportional. I didn't realise it only when i started taking a look of my body as a whole. I was like "Dayum, my legs are toned and muscular but my upper body is not! My upper body is more lean and is lacking of gains and muscles!"

;    After hearing that comment, i started doing upper body workouts such as arms and back and tried chest (Never do chest alrdy cuz i need my boobs hehe). I usually gym at Energym and i made friends with a personal trainer there called, Eugene. He guided me and helped me through out a month. So around August? That was when i met Firas and he introduced me to more arm and back workouts. That's when i started training with him up till now that i see the progress coming in. I did ask for my other fitness friends like how to 'grow' aka gain more muscles, and most of them say just keep eating and lift heavy. That's what i did.

;    I had to change my diet and also my workout routine. Such as i have to eat a lot of carbs. Like literally A LOT OF CARBS. I have to increase weights so that i can feel the pump and that my muscles will grow. Not only i train my arms and back in the gym like once a week but also have some training back at home with my dumbbells. My protein intake was more than usual (usually one scoop but increased to 2). Usually like 2-3 times a week i go gym right? i use those days to do legs but since i need to focus on my arms and back, now i train one day of arms and back and 2 days of legs.

;    I didn't imagine going through all this would make me feel so satisfied up till now. I am feeling more confident about my body, more stronger and the most important thing is that i'm feeling more happier than before.

;    I would really want to thank Firas and Eugene for the endless encouragement during this progress and my other fitness friends who advised me.

;    Many of you kept DMed me and asked me "how did i get it" or "how do you go through this i can't even". I reply,

"Discipline, Determination & Motivation"

;    I believe everyone of us have these in us. It depends if you really want to achieve your goal or not.
If any of you that is reading this and going through a struggle, let me tell you,
IT'S GOING TO BE WORTH IT.

;    I am still progressing and thanks to my friends and siblings who are supportive of me, i'm able to continue this journey. Jiayou everyone. We all can do this!
